The Apple Watch Series 10 has been introduced – here’s how you can pre-order it

Apple has just announced a new smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 10, which has the largest display of any Apple Watch model ever, as well as four new smartphones, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, and new AirPods 4 at its flagship event in September.

As the successor to the Apple Watch Series 9, the brand new Apple Watch Series 10 smartwatch features an OLED display for bright and lifelike colors. But what’s even more interesting is that it can use an accelerometer to detect the signs of sleep apnea by analyzing breathing disorders.

Unusually, Apple has not launched a new version of the extreme sports-focused Apple Watch Ultra or a cheaper Apple Watch SE, but has instead released a new satin black colorway of the existing Apple Watch Ultra 2 and a new smooth titanium metal strap in black or natural titanium.

The latest smartwatch is launching next week – here’s how much it costs and when you can pre-order the new Apple Watch Series 10.

(The Independent)

The all-new Apple Watch Series 10 has the largest display of any Apple Watch model ever, making it even bigger than the Apple Watch Ultra. With its OLED screen, it’s 40 percent brighter than the previous model and 10 percent thinner. And for the first time, you can play music directly from Apple Watch’s speakers. It has a faster charging feature that gives you an 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes.

The S10 chip is the basis for Apple’s most talked-about features, such as automatic fall and accident detection. In addition, the Translate app is now available on Apple Watch, so you can use voice recognition and translation functions right from your wrist. The biggest change is that the device can now detect if the wearer has signs of sleep apnea by looking for breathing disturbances while they sleep.

It also has a new built-in depth sensor so you can see depths of up to six metres while swimming, as well as water temperatures, making it ideal for snorkelling. A new tide app also shows high and low tides, as well as sunrise and sunset. Apple’s latest smartwatch is sleek and lightweight, with an all-metal casing.

The Apple Watch Series 10 starts at £399 for the aluminium model – the same price as the Apple Watch Series 9 – and £699 for the all-new titanium model. It goes on sale on 20 September and is available to pre-order now.
