It’s always entertaining to speculate about what men will wear on the red carpet: will they go for the classics and wear a nicely tailored tuxedo? While some viewers may find this boring, it’s never a fashion faux pas to wear a tailored suit. Take Charles Melton, for example, who wore a Giorgio Armani tuxedo to the Oscars earlier this year.
Or will they go for a bold film? That might be fun for the audience, but it carries the risk of further criticism. (Colman Domingo is usually a pro at taking risks.)

Tonight, Dan Levy came off the carpet with a bang. At the 76th Emmy Awards, he wore a look from the Loewe Spring 2025 menswear show, featuring a white silk shirt with an asymmetric collar that looks as if it is being moved by a gust of wind. Taylor Zakhar Perez wore a monochrome suit by Gucci. Andrew Scott, who won the Oscar for his performance in Ripleyseems to be having a bit of fun: for this carpet he chose a brown suit by Vivienne Westwood with contrasting large black lapels that convey a retro 70s look.
