Madden NFL 25 has more than 20 different positions. Coaches need the right players for the job when deciding which moves are best to eliminate their opponents. They will use multiple linebackers on their side of the field along with their best safeties to prevent their opponent from gaining distance from them.

There are three types of linebackers you should know: Middle linebacker, left outside linebacker and right outside linebacker. These players will be used differently, but they will work together to form a solid defense. Middle linebackers are an important option to stop an opposing team’s running back, while outside linebackers will be able to flash into the offensive of the opposing team.

5 Khalil Mack

4 Demario Davis

It is very difficult for a player to get into the 99 club, but any player who scores 95 or more is one of the best players in the world of football. Of all his defensive attributes, his highest rating is his Address.

This attribute determines how successfully a player attacks his target. Combining this with his 90 rating in acceleration and 98 rating in Enduranceand it’s easy to see why he’s ranked so high. 2 TJ Watt

TJ Watt is a left outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the only left outside linebacker with a rating in the 90s. He has improved his overall rating of 74 since his appearance in Madden NFL 18up to an astonishing rating of 97. When it comes to defensive attributes, his highest stat is his Game recognition with a 98 next to a highly rated consciousness. Unlike Demario, however, TJ has a consciousness that goes up to 99.

Of all the Left Outside Linebackers in the game, only 3 are Superstar players, and of those 3 Superstar players, only TJ is a Superstar X-Factor player. Just like the two entries before him, TJ will have access to a Superstar X-Factor ability called Unstoppable force. Once TJ enters the zone, this ability increases his win rate and block shed speed when facing one-on-one pass blocks. Players will want players of this caliber when they feel it’s time to increase the difficulty of the game.

Fred Warner is middle linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers and has increased its overall rating from 71 in Madden NFL 19to its highest rating to date. When it comes to defensive attributes, he has two ratings with a value of 99. These are his Game recognition and his Track. Pursuit determines how well a player can chase a ball carrier. To make him even more dangerous, he also has a rating of 92 for his speed, a rating of 97 for his Enduranceand a 99 rating for his consciousness.

It is no surprise that Fred is also a Superstar X-Factor player, and the Superstar X-Factor ability he uses is called Zone Hawk. When Fred enters the zone, his interception success rate in zone coverage will increase. With the right sliders, this can lead to some of the most beautiful interceptions.
