The development of Broncos Bo Nix will take time

The development of Broncos Bo Nix will take time

Hopes that the Broncos would start the 2024 season with a run were dashed on Sunday in Seattle. The Denver Broncos lost (again) 26-20 to the Seahawks. Although the defense was exceptionally strong, it was the problems on offense that ultimately sealed the Broncos’ fate.

Nix completed 61.9% of his passes, 26 of 42 passes were successful, he managed 138 yards and 2 interceptions, which earned him a QB rating of 47.5. Nix managed one rushing touchdown.

The Bo Nix “rubber” has officially hit the NFL “street.” It was funny to think that Nix’s extensive college career would better prepare him to start in the NFL. Unfortunately, the NFL is a different game than the football played in college, and that was always evident in Sunday’s game.

Preparing young quarterbacks for their future in the NFL is not a pleasant process. Thankfully, the Broncos are well on their way with Bo. Having already scored his first touchdown and made his first start on the road, Nix will enter Sunday’s game looking to record his first passing touchdown, his first home start and, who knows, maybe his first win.

The future in Broncos Country looks brighter than ever, but we need patience as we watch Nix grow from young quarterback to (hopefully) seasoned veteran. With his first game under his belt, there’s no reason to lose faith in Bo Nix’s future just yet. It’s going to be a year of growth, but it’s important to remember that the Broncos are working toward something. It’s a process, and Broncos Country is along for the ride. Buckle up, Broncos Country, there are plenty of bumps along the way, but the journey will be worth it.
