Two New Jersey heavyweights, Asbury Park Brewery and The Gaslight Anthem, have teamed up for a limited edition beer called “Stay Lucky,” which can only be purchased at the brewery’s tasting room at 614 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park, NJ.

Stay Lucky is a 6.5% ABV hazy IPA with flavors of peach and mango. The taste is described as a hoppy beer with haze, low bitterness, mango, tangerine, citrus, and a little boozy. The collaboration will also give back to the music community, with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Stay Lucky going to Red House Music & Rehearsal Studio, a music school in New Jersey.

The beer’s name comes from a song by The Gaslight Anthem from their 2010 album “American Slang.” The collaboration came about when the band’s lead singer, Brian Fallon, expressed his love for the brewery’s Sea Dragon IPA and the idea of brewing a beer together was born. This launch took place ahead of The Gaslight Anthem’s performance on the Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 16.

This is the brewery’s fourth limited-edition collaboration with a musician on a beer. It will be available in 4-packs, 16oz cans for $15.99, and on tap in the tasting room. The label for the Stay Lucky can was designed by Thunder Clap Creative.
