Matt Hardy says the Hardys are happy with TNA and will continue there. However, there are ongoing talks with WWE.

Previously, Matt Hardy confirmed that the Hardys filmed content for WWE over SummerSlam weekend.

Speaking of The extreme life of Matt HardyMatt Hardy was asked if the Hardys would possibly return to AEW if they could not come to an agreement with WWE to end their careers there. He stated that they were very happy in TNA. He also said that he would never say never to a return to WWE.

“We’re both very, very happy, we’re extremely happy with where things are going in TNA right now, and we’re going to keep doing that for a while,” said Matt Hardy. “We just talked about some creative stuff that’s going on through the end of this year, so that’s very exciting. We like what we have. But as far as going to WWE or AEW, in my world, that’s a never-say-never scenario. In the extreme life of Matt Hardy, it’s a never-say-never scenario.”

Hardy reiterated that he has a “never say never” attitude towards returning to AEW. He also stated that there have been ongoing discussions with WWE. Hardy noted that anything can happen.

“You never rule anything out, you never close any doors,” Hardy said. “You just do your best, keep your head up, keep going and try to speak as honestly and transparently as possible.”

“So it’s one of those things. If we ended up back in AEW to do something, we wouldn’t mind, especially if it was something that sounded really good and we were very intrigued by. There are still discussions going on with WWE as well, so yeah, anything can happen in the extreme life of Matt Hardy.”
