The Produce Moms and Walmart launch co-branding campaign

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (August 22, 2024) – Walmart BB #:143789 has launched an online back-to-school campaign featuring Lori Taylor, CEO of The Produce Moms BB #:366223, and the TPM brand.

Taylor is featured on Walmart’s U.S. e-commerce website and app in a back-to-school campaign showcasing products with the “Produce Moms Approved” seal.

“The Produce Moms Approved seal represents a product that supports our mission to put more fruits and vegetables on every table,” Taylor said. “NatureSweet, Wada Farms, Crunch Pak and Sage Fruit are some of the TPM partner brands featured in this Walmart campaign.”

TPM also awards the seal to brands that are committed to sustainability and employee engagement:
• the product extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables, thereby supporting The Produce Moms’ goal of reducing food waste;
• reduces plastic waste when shopping for groceries, supporting The Produce Moms’ value of environmental sustainability;
• and the employer offers child care, breastfeeding opportunities and/or appropriate paid maternity/paternity leave, supporting The Produce Moms value of building careers and families.

“Incorporating The Produce Moms into our back-to-school campaign was a no-brainer,” said Evan Gaetano, Walmart Grocery eCommerce Manager of Site Merchandising. “Lori and TPM represent the accessibility of fruits and vegetables and align with Walmart’s mission to help consumers save money while gaining access to what they need for a better life.”

Consumers in the United States can view and purchase TPM Verified products through Walmart.com and the Walmart mobile app. Brands featured include TPM partners NatureSweet, Wada Farms, CrunchPak, Sage Fruit (Cosmic Crisp Apples), Duda Farms Fresh Foods, Naturipe Farms and Envy Apples. Many of the fresh products are packaged and easy to pack into a lunchbox or bag.
