The Wings Over Muskegon Air Show returns to Muskegon County Airport this weekend

MUSKEGON COUNTY, Michigan – The Wings Over Muskegon Air Show returns this weekend for three days at the Muskegon County Airport.

It runs from August 9th to 11th.

The Yankee Air Museum, a non-profit organization, will host the event with support from F3 Airport, Musekgon County and the City of Norton Shores.

Both civilian and military aircraft will be featured both in the air and on the ground. Visitors can see performances by new demos such as the Misty Blues and Ghostwriter Airshows, as well as returning performances by the A-10 Demo Team, Hooligan Flight Team and Hot Streak II Jet Truck.

Historic aircraft such as the UH-1H Huey Greyhound, B-25 Rosie’s Reply and C-47 Hairless Joe from the Yankee Air Museum will continue their flying program throughout the weekend beginning Friday, August 9. Tickets can be purchased here.

Friday will see the first-of-its-kind Twilight Show at the Wings Over Muskegon Air Show. The evening will include live music as well as a preview of the weekend’s aerial entertainment, including light and pyrotechnics acts. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with live music from “Yard Sale Underwear,” food trucks, and beverages including beer, wine, and cocktails. Tickets are $50 per carload, including admission and parking.
