This Maine food truck was voted one of the “Best in the USA”

If the Food Network thinks you’re the best, you must be pretty good!

The Food Network is a popular American cable television channel that focuses on food-related programs, such as cooking shows, baking competitions, culinary tours, and restaurant reviews.

Since their launch in 1993, they have grown into one of the world’s leading food and lifestyle television channels with shows such as “Chopped,” “Beat Bobby Flay,” “Worst Cooks in America” ​​and “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”

They set themselves the task of naming the best food truck in each state, which is no easy task since food trucks have been all the rage in recent years.

There are many amazing food trucks in Maine, but according to Food Network, one stands out above the rest!

Located at 268 Odlin Road in Bangor, directly across from the Ramada Inn, Lobstah Buoy has been serving delicious food since 2017.

There’s nothing better than fresh Maine lobster, and The Lobster Buoy uses only fresh, never frozen lobster. The menu includes a variety of seafood and other dishes. You can get lobster rolls in three sizes: Baby Buoy 2oz, quarter pound and half pound. The menu also includes fried whole belly clams, clam strips, fish n’ chips, crab rolls, scallops and shrimp. All seafood dishes include fresh cut french fries and coleslaw.

The non-seafood menu includes cheeseburgers, spicy pastrami and red hot dogs. If you’re craving something sweet, there are also whoopie pies and/or strawberry shortcake for dessert.

They are open weekdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may change throughout the season, but now is the time to eat!
