Lottery for affordable housing in the Near Block Long ‘Burg development opened

An affordable housing lottery has been opened for 56 apartments in a new, nearly block-long, nine-story complex stretching from the corner of Lorimer Street to about three-quarters of Grand Street in Williamsburg.

Beverly Hall has her own “little peaceful oasis” on Lincoln Place, between Nostrand and New York Avenue. Filled with blooming marigolds, hydrangeas, ferns and more, her green space is one of many green spaces along the block that helped it win first place in the Greenest Block in Brooklyn contest—for the third time in the contest’s history.
