SEOUL, South Korea And SINGAPORE, May 14, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — In a groundbreaking collaboration between the world-famous three-star chef Corey Lee and Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS), Oh wella new restaurant concept, the diverse culinary landscape in Singapore.

Oh well – which means “move from the inside out” in Korean – will be more than just a restaurant. It will be a destination in Singapore which is considered a cultural center for Korean cuisine, crafts and design.

Guided by the culinary vision of San Francisco-based chef Corey Lee, Oh well explores traditional Korean cuisine from a modern perspective. Oh well Mark Cook Corey Lee first project in Southeast Asiaand adds an exciting dimension to the city’s culinary offering.

HMGICS will be the focus Oh well Concept. Integration Oh well at HMGICS will expand the hub’s customer experience beyond a traditional automotive manufacturing facility and transform it into a unique hospitality destination in Singapore.

Using cutting-edge automation and robotics technology, HMGICS operates a two-story vertical smart farm with a capacity to produce over 30 kg of fresh produce per day. It is the world’s first robotic smart farm for the customer experience and the first of its kind in the world to be open to visitors. Oh well will source ingredients directly from this facility, creating a direct link between food and innovation to offer a unique and sophisticated farm-to-table experience.

Under the leadership of Chef Corey Lee, Oh well The kitchen team serves you an exquisite Hansik Cuisine tailored to the modern palate. Inspired by Korean traditions, Oh well will not only delight the palate but will also offer cultural insights through curation and collaboration with many Korean master artisans. Oh well The opening to the public is for June 2024.
