COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Tickets go on sale for the scheduled arrival of a traveling circus in Columbia.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey have announced that a revival of their circus show “The Greatest Show on Earth” will be performed for five live performances at the Colonial Life Arena from February 7-9, 2025.
The company said the two-hour show will feature 75 artists in over 50 circus acts, including:
- A triangular tightrope and a criss-cross flying trapeze
- A stunt scene with a BMX bike
- Human juggling
- The Double Wheel of Destiny, in which four performers perform jumps and somersaults on two rotating machines hanging 9 metres above the ground
- Wesley the Unicycle Wonder, the Guinness World Record holder who rides the world’s tallest unicycle which is over 34 feet tall
Advance ticket sales for the circus start on Tuesday, August 27th, at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster. On August 27th, they will only be available online.
Anyone who would like tickets after the first day of sales can purchase them from Ticketmaster or at the Prisma Health box office on the next Ticket Tuesday.
