MIDDLETOWN, CT—WIHS 104.9 FM announced today that tickets are now on sale for the Christian radio station’s 2024 Celebrate Jesus Gala & Expo. The event will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 4:30-9:15 p.m. at the Aqua Turf Club, one of Connecticut’s premier performance venues, located at 556 Mulberry Street in Southington. Tickets are $85 per person.
Celebrate Jesus begins with an exhibition consisting of presentations from about 30 different Christian churches in Connecticut. At 6:30 p.m., the event transitions into a family banquet with 600-700 attendees. The keynote speaker is Dr. Greg Smalley, vice president of marriage and family education at Focus on the Family in Colorado. Dr. Smalley will speak about common challenges facing marriages and families today and godly ways to overcome them.
At Celebrate Jesus, attendees can network with other Christians, learn about the many resources available, meet station and office staff, enjoy a review of the past year, and learn more about the station’s vision for the future. The event is also one of the station’s major fundraisers of the year, and there is an opportunity to partner financially with the station.
