The San Francisco 49ers travel to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for an NFC West game.

The Rams suffered an embarrassing 41-10 road loss last week to the Arizona Cardinals, another NFC West rival.

Week 2: 32 things we learned: Saints are one of the biggest surprises at the start of the season

The Rams played without receiver Puka Nacua, who was injured in Week 1 and may have suffered another serious injury in Week 2. Receiver Cooper Kupp was spotted in the locker room after the loss to Arizona with a boot on his left foot. He limped off the field in the final seconds before halftime and did not return for the second half. Coach Sean McVay did not provide a status update on Kupp’s availability after the game.

The 49ers are also struggling with injuries, including the loss of running back Christian McCaffrey. The star running back has been placed on the injured list.

The 49ers lost an away game against the Minnesota Vikings last week by 23:17. Quarterback Brock Purdy completed 28 of 36 passes for 319 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the 49ers. Running back Jordan Mason had 20 runs for 100 yards and one touchdown.
