Titans QB Will Levis is excited to show his progress

Titans QB Will Levis is excited to show his progress

In 2023, Levis was inactive for the first six games of the season and eventually started in nine games.

Levis completed 149 of 255 passes (58.4%) for 1,808 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions with a passer rating of 84.2.

Coach Brian Callahan, who has worked with Levis since his hiring, believes his second-year quarterback is ready for this moment.

“With everything he’s done so far, he’s ready for the moment,” Callahan said. “There’s no doubt in my mind. Obviously he’s got to play well for us. But his demeanor, his confidence, his offensive ability, all those things have shown he’s ready to play football. I can’t wait to see that, and I’m excited for him to be able to show people how far he’s come. So in that regard, it’s exciting for both of us.”

Levis said he wants Titans fans to see that he seems more relaxed in his second year, like he sees things well. He wants to make good decisions for his teammates and coaches.

Last week, Levis was voted by his teammates as one of the team’s five captains.

“I just trust what I see,” Levis said. “And I think that’s one of the things I’ve gotten the most improved at: just playing ball and doing the right thing over and over again. And just knowing that as long as you make the right decisions, you’re continuing to give your team the best chance to win.”

“…I just feel ready and excited to show it.”
