Yellow Answers: Revealed and Explained

While all these things certainly outside a residenceit’s a bit odd that they added that it has to be a gathering place. None of these are exclusively a gathering place, even though they can all be places to gather. It’s a strange nuance, but since there’s not much difference in this category with or without them, I don’t think it matters that much.

Green Answers: Revealed and Explained

This was difficult. Although I knew for a fact that DISH, INFO and SCOOP belonged here, I couldn’t understand the fourth word. DOPE has a much more obscure meaning than the one everyone uses it for, probably for good reason, and I’m not sure anyone would even use it that way anymore, no matter what the Cambridge Dictionary says. Blue Answers: Revealed and Explained

BLOOPER brought this category to my attention and it was the easiest one I could solve today. DEMO and HIGHLIGHT were easy choices for the category. SIZZLE was the last one and that was more of a guess but luckily it turned out to be correct and that all dealt with different types of roles. I thought this was funny because I was just skimming the lyrics for “Reel” when I saw “BLOOPER.”

Purple Answers: Revealed and Explained

This feels somehow impossible until you see the category name when it becomes much clearer. GOOF and SNOOP are the most obvious characters here, but the other two are characterized enough that most people would guess that. No other word in the puzzle really screams “dog” like these, which is usually enough to make a correct, educated guess.
