When it comes to the hottest cleats in the sport, you know you’ll find them in Boulder. Shedeur Sanders can take advantage of his mega NIL deal with Nike all he wants, but Colorado football teammate Travis Hunter isn’t holding back either.

The two-way star got his hands on shiny new gray Nike cleats for his season opener against NDSU. Now that everyone knows Hunter’s amazing three TDs with 132 yards and three touchdowns, coupled with seven receptions, his cleats are getting noticed; thanks to the Matchday vlog he posted on his social media.

In his vlog, Hunter was spotted wearing perfectly fitted sparkly gray Nike shoes, continuing Nike’s saga in Colorado. During his pregame warm-up, a teammate even shouted to Hunter, “Look at the heat, bro.”

First, it was Deion Sanders’ restored relationship with the shoe giant that spawned some of the hottest sneakers in college football: the “Primes,” also known as the Nike Air Diamond Turfs Max 96.

While fans were still busy with the new colorways of Coach Prime, made an even bigger announcement shocking for everyone: a NIL deal with Nike, the first in college football to increase its NIL rating to a whopping 4.7 million US dollars.

“Now it’s a family business,” Sanders wrote on Instagram.

While it will be the same line as his father’s, with this deal Shedeur plans to bring his own creativity and not simply follow in his father’s footsteps.

“I want to build on that. Have a different version. It’s more about generations. It’s more about what can be passed down year after year rather than everyone starting to think they’re a whole new wave because there’s no real substance behind it,” Sanders said in his latest episode of the podcast “2Legendary.”

“Everything that’s great has to have a story. Every great player has a story. So I think when it comes to design or anything like that, there has to be a great design behind it.”

Seeing his father’s fancy shoes, expectations for Shedeur’s abilities will only rise.
