T&T Supermarkets, a Canadian-based Asian grocer, has announced the expansion of its presence in the United States, with the first store scheduled to open in California.
The new store is scheduled to open in fall 2025. It will be located in the Westgate Centre, 1600 Saratoga Ave, San Jose.
The San Jose store will feature numerous offerings, including a grill counter, a noodle station, a dim sum and street food section, a hot food counter and a made-to-order Chinese crepe station.
In addition, the store will house its own bakery offering freshly prepared foods such as mochi puffs, egg cakes and Hong Kong-style pastries, as well as custom-designed cakes.
For the first time, Californians will also have access to T&T’s signature private label products, including pineapple cakes, Taiwanese sausages, pork soup dumplings and scallion pancakes.
This new store is the retailer’s third store announcement in the U.S., following two planned locations in Washington.

It will occupy an area of 5,180 m² at the former Walmart site.
Located in a prime location in the Bay Area, the Westgate Centre is a well-known landmark at the intersection of Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road.
The Westgate Center development is managed by Federal Realty, a real estate investment trust.
The new T&T store is expected to create approximately 200 jobs for the local community.
