Jhonatan Temprana-Olivares, 29, of Tualatin was arrested Monday on sexual assault and harassment charges after allegedly attacking three women on the trail near the volleyball court at Cook Family Park.
According to police, all three incidents occurred on Monday, August 12.

The first woman stated that she was approached by a man while jogging on the path at around 7:30 a.m. The man is said to have approached her from behind and was pushed away by her when he made unwanted advances towards her.

A second woman reported a similar incident around 12:30 p.m. She said a man grabbed her buttocks and then fled into the woods. Officers responding to the call found Temprana-Olivares in the wooded area near the hiking trail and arrested him.

On Tuesday, a third woman came forward claiming that a man matching Temprana-Olivares’ description approached her on the same path while she was walking her dog at around 8:30 a.m. The man reportedly petted her dog, followed her and made inappropriate comments before screaming loudly and leaving the area.

Because there may be additional victims, investigators are releasing Temprana-Olivares’ booking photo. Anyone who had a similar encounter with him is asked to contact the Tigard Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch line at 503-629-0111 or email [email protected].
