Two of the most popular custom-built treehouses for rent in New England

Two of the most popular custom-built treehouses for rent in New England

While browsing unique rental properties, I came across two treehouses that are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.

You can tell the builder took care to use only the best wood, including cherrywood spiral staircases and stunning loft bedrooms. But that’s not all.

The views from the treehouses are also beautiful. In fact, there are two treehouses to choose from at Bliss Ridge Farm in Moretown, Vermont.

A treehouse in the farm’s forest is not isolated and therefore only available seasonally from May to October. Designed by B’fer Roth, DIY Network host of The boys from the treehouseAccording to Airbnb, it is an authentic treehouse surrounded by living trees.

This treehouse has a new septic tank and a hot outdoor shower. It is nestled amongst the trees and gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nature. This smaller, individually designed treehouse is called “The Bird’s Nest”.

There is no need to bring plastic water bottles. Fresh mountain springs provide the purest drinking water on the property and there is plenty of firewood available.

The second, custom-built treehouse is larger, hence the name “The Big Treehouse”. Like its smaller counterpart, the house is secluded and built in the forest, offering the same stunning views.

Both offer beautiful meadow views, perfect sunsets, hiking on the farm, a pond for swimming and paddling, and many other activities just a short drive away. Guests often say there is no need to leave the farm because there is so much to do in nature.

Bliss Ridge Farm is an organic farm that hosts weddings and events. Hosts Dan and Jordan receive rave reviews, as do their homes, so bring your family or partner and enjoy some time in the great outdoors.

Now let’s take a look at these two custom gems.
