ZANESVILLE, OH – A new business opened its doors to the public today.

Ulta Beauty held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its Zanesville location.

Katie Parker, the manager, says opening this store hasn’t been an easy journey, but she’s happy it’s finally open.

“I’d like to say it was quick and easy, but it wasn’t,” Parker said. “I’d like to say it took well over a year before they started breaking it open, and my crew of 60 worked 12- to 24-hour shifts every day, sometimes over three weeks, to get it back in order.”

Ulta Beauty offers much more than just a wide selection of makeup brands.

They also offer a full-service salon, a waxing expert, and impromptu events where you can learn more about the beauty industry.

Parker says it means a lot to her to finally be open to the whole area and experience what they have experienced.

“The gatherings we’ve had, the work ethic, the jobs we’ve been able to create, the people we’ve met, the hospitality of this area has just been incredible,” Parker said. “It just means success for everyone here and a place where everyone can come and feel loved and full of beauty.”

Ulta Beauty is located at 3885 Gorsky Drive in Zanesville.
