This service game went back and forth a bit.

Draper back in front and the physiotherapist comes out

Draper collapses again… and the physiotherapist arrives.

The British number 1 slipped slightly at the end of the first set and now wants to have his hamstring checked. It looks like his right thigh will be bandaged.

But de Minaur also appears to be injured. He has flexed his hip. Medical staff appear to be waiting nearby in the wing in case they are needed.

Draper leads the second set 3-1.

Decisive hold for de Minaur in the second set

Good energy from the Australian, which we didn’t see much of in the first set.

Shaky from de Minaur, but he holds his serve

We see a tennis performance that is untypical for de Minaur. We are not used to his game showing so many weaknesses.

But he holds on. The Australian was close to losing the first set four times in his service game, but he saved himself each time.

Hewitt tells de Minaur to stay in the rallies, but that’s difficult when Draper is serving a lot of aces.

Draper leads 4-1 in the first set

de Minaur is very confident with his volleys and has quick feet, but that apparently isn’t enough.

The left-hander uses his aces and forehand to complete the serve, making up for his two previous double faults in his last service game with two aces and a fantastic forehand winner.

The score is 4:1, a good start for the Brit.

Draper holds his serve

The Brit is absolutely reliable with his forehand. An unreturned serve to open the match before a rally led to victory. An ace in the middle kept him on the ball.

The game is guaranteed to be lovable.

Both players on the pitch

The conditions at Arthur Ashe Stadium are beautiful and calm.

But it’s not that busy… maybe the hot sun keeps people away?

When tossing a coin, De Minaur chooses the preserver.

Both players are warming up. The Australian lets out his inner Nadal and jumps up and down on the court.

The game is expected to start in a few minutes.

Who will emerge victorious?

In direct comparison de Minaur is undefeated against Draper.

In addition, the Australian reached the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam men’s singles as the highest-ranked player for the first time in his career.

One could say that de Minaur can only lose from now on.

But as we all know, anything can happen in tennis and past results do not give a complete picture.

And we must not forget that the 22-year-old Draper not lost a set in this tournament in a Grand Slam run, the best of his career.

He should be refreshed for this fight.
