Utah Golf shines at the Tindall Tournament in Washington

The University of Utah men’s golf team will travel to Sammamish, Washington, to compete in the Tindall Tournament on Sept. 23-24, looking to build on an impressive start to the season. Previously, the Utes put on historic performances at the Palouse Collegiate, breaking several school records, including the lowest team score in a single round. Individually, Sergio Jimenez set a new record with a first-round score of 61 strokes (10 under par) to secure his first collegiate title. The team is now ranked No. 24 in the Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, a notable jump from previously unranked. Utah will compete against 13 other teams, including two ranked opponents.
