The largest fair on the East Coast returns to Massachusetts in 2024, September 13-29. Hosted by the Eastern States Exposition, The Big E represents all six New England states, many of which do not have their own state fairs.

However, The Big E is only all about Vermont for one day. Next Saturday, September 21, is the fair’s annual Vermont Day, a state celebration that typically draws the largest crowd of the entire fair. Held in and around the historic Vermont Building on the Avenue of States, this Green Mountain-themed day features specialty foods, gifts and attractions from 27 Vermont vendors.

“The Vermont Building at the Big E transports visitors to the Green Mountains with a wide variety of Vermont foods, products and activities, straight from the heart of our Green Mountain State,” said Vermont Secretary of Agriculture Anson Tebbetts. “Come for the music, food and fun and you will be rewarded with a taste of Vermont.”
