Despite his outstanding performance in the second game of his NFL career, Marvin Harrison Jr. is still not satisfied.

The Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver lamented the fact that Kyler Murray’s four incomplete passes were all due to targeting him in his team’s 41-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

“I’m not going to lie to you, I think I saw Kyler’s stats,” Harrison told reporters after the win. “He had four incomplete passes, all of them were to me. I’m not very happy about that. That definitely needs to be fixed, but we’ll continue to work on our chemistry as the season goes on.”

The 22-year-old was perhaps a little too hard on himself, but still delivered a historic game.

He caught four passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns, with all of his work coming in the first quarter, including a 60-yard touchdown that helped Arizona take an early 14-0 lead.

Murray also shined against the Rams, completing 17 of 21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns without a turnover. After going 1-8 for nine weeks in 2023, Arizona is now 1-1.

If Harrison and Murray can continue to build their chemistry throughout the rest of the season, the Cardinals may have a chance to secure their first playoff spot since 2021.
