“It was crazy”

Kyle Massey left the mall with his 10-year-old daughter and stopped at a traffic light.

“I looked to my right and saw six, seven bulls or something like that and I thought they were just walking around the parking lot with the people (from the rodeo),” he told WBZ-TV.

“Then I noticed they were getting closer, so I told my daughter, ‘I think they’re on the loose,’ although I still didn’t really believe it because it’s kind of unbelievable. So I started recording.”

“They ran across the street and dodged all these cars, went into the parking lot and ended up in the woods,” Massey said. “The police were after them. All the people who were in charge were running across the street. It was crazy.”

Massey said he heard that state police might be called because the cops were running toward the highway.

“Community members should exercise extreme caution and not approach any bull. If you see a bull, please call 9-1-1 immediately,” the fire department said on Facebook Sunday afternoon as the search continued.

Bulls caught 3 miles away

It was all over just before 4 p.m. when the men were safely corralled about three miles away on Prescott Street in Attleboro.

“There is no immediate danger to the community. Thank you to everyone who helped and passed on information to first responders,” the fire department said in an update.

“No further information is available at this time,” a North Attleboro police spokesman told WBZ in an email.
