Aaron Jones didn’t shy away from self-promotion this offseason. He implored fantasy football owners to put him on their teams. “I tell them all, ‘Hey, if I let you down last year, I’m sorry. But this year, if you get me, we’re going to win it all,'” the 29-year-old running back said. He also added, “Make sure you get me in your leagues.”
While his courage is no guarantee of a touchdown, it is encouraging to see how confident the veteran running back is, and with Darnold at quarterback, he will need it.
Sure, the Vikings still have solid receivers in Justin Jefferson And Jordan Addisonbut how reliable will Darnold be when it comes to targeting them efficiently in the red zone?
