The Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre will present five shows in its 2025 season. The Northside long-standing house will open its new season in January with “Murder on the Orient Express” and continue with musicals it has not yet performed, including “Waitress” and “Heartbreak Hotel.”

Beloved classics are also part of the theater’s eight-performance season: The variety shows “Church Basement Ladies,” “The Little Mermaid” and “A Beef and Boards Christmas” return to the theater at 9301 Michigan Road.

VIP memberships will be available for purchase beginning September 3rd and individual tickets beginning October 1st at beefandboards.com or by calling the box office at 317-872-9664. Costs range from $57 to $85 and include a dinner buffet, fruit and salad buffet, coffee, tea and lemonade. Groups and children ages 3 to 15 receive a discount.

“Murder on the Orient Express”

9 January – 9 February 2025

In the middle of a snowstorm, a business titan is found stabbed to death in a locked compartment. Also on the train is the famous detective Hercule Poirot, who must find out what happened by questioning a group of uncooperative passengers.

“Jersey Boys” – The return of the superheroes

February 14 – April 13, 2025

Hits like “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry” accompany this musical about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, who rose from the working class to become icons.

“Ladies from the basement of the church”

17 April – 18 May 2025

A group of devout women organize a Christmas dinner, a funeral, an Easter fundraiser in Hawaii, and a summer wedding while grappling with the changing times in 1965.

A travel-loving mermaid falls head over heels in love with a prince and makes a pact with a sea witch to acquire human legs. But when the pact turns out to be more expensive than she thought, Ariel must enlist the support of her loved ones.

As a gifted cake baker, a small-town waitress pours her dreams and fears into each of her creations as she overcomes obstacles to seize the chance of a lifetime.

‘Heartbreak Hotel’

4 September – 12 October 2025

This prequel to “Million Dollar Quartet” traces the young Elvis Presley’s path to fame with more than 40 hits, including “That’s All Right” and “All Shook Up.”

‘Tootsie’

16 October – 23 November 2025

Unemployed actor Michael Dorsey transforms himself into Dorothy Michaels to finally get a job. But things get complicated when “Dorothy” becomes famous on Broadway and Dorsey falls in love in this show based on the Dustin Hoffman film.

“A Beef & Boards Christmas”

28 November – 31 December 2025

Santa Claus, Christmas carols, dancing, costumes and nostalgia characterize the typical variety show.
