Walmart unveiled a number of new initiatives at the “Let’s Grow!” 2024 Walmart Marketplace Seller Summit.

Key announcements include:

  • Premium Beauty: A new premium beauty section with over 20 new brands will appear on the Marketplace.

Additionally, more than 4,600 Walmart stores nationwide accept Marketplace returns.”

In the area of order fulfillment, Walmart is introducing new solutions to streamline operations for sellers with multichannel logistics. These will enable sellers to fulfill orders from any e-commerce platform while leveraging Walmart’s supply chain and cross-border fulfillment to streamline imported goods at ports from Asia.

With the holiday season approaching, Walmart is offering its sellers several new benefits, including:

  • A redesigned Global Seller Center and app for easier cross-border selling.
  • Waiver of peak season storage fees for merchandise shipped to Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) centers through September 30.
  • Expanded access to Walmart Marketplace Capital, which provides cash advances of up to $5 million.
  • A new Deals dashboard to manage holiday promotions and offers.

Additionally, starting next month, Walmart+ members will receive 25% off digital orders at Burger King and a free Whopper with a purchase every three months. This partnership aims to increase the value of Walmart+ membership by offering additional dining perks. Members can take advantage of these benefits by linking their Walmart+ and Burger King accounts through the BK app or website.
