If you bought apple juice from Walmartyou should check the bottle immediately.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns that there is an increased risk of arsenic in the apple juice of Walmart’s own brand “Great Value.”

The agency announced a recall in several states, including New Jersey.

Warning to consumers

Consumers are warned that the Cheap apple juice The 8-inch plastic bottles contain the product in question.

They are packaged in packs of six and were sold in Alabama, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts,

Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia.

Look for these codes

If you have this product at home, check the bottles for a best before date of DEC2824 and the code CT89-6.

The products would have been sold before August 15th.

Authorities advise you to immediately dispose of this product if you have it.

This recall comes immediately after another major food recall.

Arsenic poisoning is usually the result of ingesting contaminated water.

Such contamination can occur when contaminated water is used in the preparation of food.
