After six years, Walmart updated its coupon policies in September 2023. Most regular shoppers (even week-to-week) probably didn’t notice the changes.

What’s changing for you at Walmart in Michigan?
There are three big changes that could affect you, the average shopper, this year. Some of them are: no more overages, only 4 coupons per household, no more overrides and no more expired coupons.
Many got away with it, for example with expired coupons, which the retail giant also warned it would no longer accept in the future.

If you try to redeem several coupons from one manufacturer at once, you may be out of luck with the saved offers, as these will then no longer be accepted.
