At the premiere of the 33rd season of Dancing with the starsSo 13 duos keep their dreams of the Mirrorball trophy alive.
In the premiere episode on Tuesday, September 17, the stars danced to songs they consider their personal anthems, which meant the music selection ranged from pop to R&B to country.
After each celebrity and their respective professional partners had the chance to show the judges their skills Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough And Carrie Ann Inaba, Eric Roberts And Britt Stewart had the lowest score of the evening, while Chandler Kinney And Brandon Armstrong led the pack.
Inaba, 56, told Kinney, 24, she “set the standard” for the season, while Tonioli, 68, told the actress her tango was one of the best he’d seen on the show. Both judges gave Kinney the top eight of the competition.
Those in the middle of the scoreboard also provided memorable moments. From Bachelor Nation’s Joey Graziadei opened his shirt to show his abs during his Cha Cha with Jenna Johnson To Brooks Nader suggests that she and her partner Gleb Savchenko have a “healthy, flirtatious vibe,” season 33 already promises to be hot.
While no one was eliminated in the premiere episode, two duos will be sent home next week.
