Last week, the Watertown Food Pantry received a donation from a construction company working on a major project in town.

Stacy Walsh, a volunteer at the food pantry, said the donation was delivered by Chris Bertone and Tim Guiggio of Brait. The company is the contractor for the Watertown High School project and has previously worked on the elementary school projects in Cunniff and Hosmer.

“Brait Construction conducted a much-needed food drive for the Watertown Food Pantry, for which we were extremely grateful!” said Walsh.

The Watertown Food Pantry is located in the rear of the former Belmont-Watertown United Methodist Church at 80 Mt. Auburn St. It is open Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To donate or for more information, visit https://www.watertown-ma.gov/330/Watertown-Food-Pantry or call 617-972-6490.
