If you’re a fan of Lucha Libre (the flashy masked wrestling style that originated in Mexico) but missed the 2 p.m. fights SOPASUPAgood news – Luchadores from Lucha Libre Volcano will be back in the ring at 6pm. This is part of the South Park Summer Party Festival that takes place at several locations in and around the intersection of 14th and Cloverdale in the heart of South Park.

In the first fight Sniper (in the black and white shirt) was victorious….

In the second fight Red Dog (in pink and black) was the last remaining luchador.

The ring – as well as the main music stage – is located behind the building on the southwest corner (just behind The Scene cafe). You can even buy your own luchadore mask:

Behind the building on the northwest corner of 14th/Cloverdale you will find the Kid Zone with bouncy toys:

And a painting table:

Across 14th Street on the northeast corner you will find art and food stalls:

And a few blocks west on Cloverdale, next to the Highway 99 overpass, South Park’s skate park is also hosting a festival. The festival runs until 9 p.m.; check our calendar for the stage schedule.
