FORT MILL, SC — Top 100 retailer Broad River Retail, which owns and operates Ashley stores in the Carolinas and Georgia, hosted a grand reopening of its remodeled Ashley store in Fayetteville, NC

Officials say the extensive renovation and remodel will create a more pleasant shopping experience with a cleaner look, expanded sleeping gallery and reimagined design for the 4,500-square-foot store in the Cross Pointe Center at 5075 Morganton Road. Guests will enjoy several benefits from the remodel, including a dedicated Ashley Outlet area, improved lighting and enhanced product presentation.

“We are excited to introduce the Ashley Outlet to our newly renovated Fayetteville store, offering our guests more home furnishings choices,” said Charlie Malouf, President and CEO of Broad River Retail. “This investment reflects our commitment to the Fayetteville community and provides a convenient and comprehensive shopping experience for those looking for affordable and accessible quality home furnishings.”

The Fayetteville Ashley features the new 7.0 store design with an open floor plan and interior design elements that bring out color in the furniture. The expanded sleep gallery offers a wide selection of mattresses, lifestyle bases, pillows and sleep systems from top brands such as Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster, Sealy, Purple, Bedgear and Ashley-Sleep. The Ashley Outlet expansion focuses on guest comfort and offers dozens of home furnishings, many of them grab-and-go so guests can take them home the same day.

“Broad River Retail and Ashley have been proud members of the Fayetteville community for nearly 13 years,” said Manny Rodrigues, Chief Operating Officer of Broad River Retail. “Our team worked tirelessly to complete this transformation, which included expanding our Sleep Gallery, opening an Ashley Outlet and opening the showroom to our guests. All to deepen our connection to the community and continue to provide superior customer service for years to come.”

“The new store design includes enhanced lighting that mimics the natural light levels found in most homes, allowing our guests to see how our products really look in their spaces,” said Tim Sayles, Director of Construction and Facilities. “This intentional design decision creates a more authentic shopping experience.”

The Fuquay-Varina Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to building, assembling and delivering first-class bunk beds to children and families in need, received a $1,000 charitable donation from BRR in recognition of its community service.

Broad River Retail operates 32 Ashley stores in the Carolinas and Georgia, including nearby locations in Southern Pines, NC, and a combined Ashley store and outlet in Four Oaks, NC. The company also operates a corporate headquarters and distribution center in Four Oaks.
