Everything you need to know about “American Sports Story”Courtesy of FX on Hulu

The end of summer marks the return of football season, which will dominate many television screens every Sunday and Monday night for the foreseeable future. (Or, as I prefer to call it, Taylor Swift Sightings: Sports Edition!) However, if you want to add another sports-related activity to your weekly TV schedule, Ryan Murphy’s latest anthology series American Sports History: Aaron Hernandez might be exactly what you are looking for – but beware, the content of this story is not for the faint of heart.

Based on the The Boston Globe and Wondery Podcast”Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc.“” the series revolves around the career and personal life of former NFL player Aaron Hernandez (Josh Andrés Rivera) and the tragic and terrible turn his life ultimately took. Hernandez was convicted of murder and committed suicide in 2017 while serving his prison sentence.

The first season of the series, which consists of 10 episodes in total, will air on FX and be available to stream on Hulu. But when exactly will all of these episodes be available? Here’s a helpful rundown of everything you need to know American sports history‘s episode release schedule.

When American Sports History: Aaron Hernandez Premiere?

The series will make its official FX debut on Tuesday, September 17. However, unlike some shows that choose to release an entire season at once, only the first two episodes of American sports history will be available that day (yay, sports jargon!) So you’ll need to be patient to see what’s next.

When is the next episode of American Sports History: Aaron Hernandez fall?

Immediately after the two episodes premiere, the show will then release a new episode every week until the finale in November. That means viewers can expect to see episode 3 on their screens on Tuesday, September 24. And given Murphy’s track record on FX shows, the wait will definitely be worth it.
