The birds are about to fly away.
On September 6, the Philadelphia Eagles will open the 2024 season as part of the NFL’s international series against the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil.
Just over a week later, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith and the team return to their own Lincoln Financial Field on Monday, September 16th for the first official home game of the season against the Atlanta Falcons.
And the pressure is great.
Last year, the Eagles started the season 10-1 before slumping to finish 11-6, making them the first team in NFL history to start 10-1 and not win at least 12 games. Their first-round postseason exit to the Buccaneers didn’t help their cause, either.
This time, Sirianni’s strong team hopes to start as strongly as they did in 2023 and finish with a bang.
If you’d like to come along and help them out (perhaps by singing along to the “Fly Eagles Fly” chant), tickets are available for all eight home games at Lincoln Financial Field.

During the regular season, most NFC games are broadcast on Fox.
