Which airports does JSX currently fly to?

Summary

  • JSX operates as a semi-private airline, offering unique direct flights in private jets with less stringent TSA screening.
  • Serving destinations across North America from the East Coast to the West Coast and from its headquarters in Dallas to Mexico, JSX is known for its positive passenger experience.
  • It is showing positive expansion due to a reinvented flight experience with comfortable seats, comprehensive service and stress-free flights from private terminals.

JSX is one of the fastest-growing airlines in the United States. Based in Dallas, Texas, the company is a semi-private air carrier, meaning it offers direct flights on private jets, but also scheduled flights. JSX can operate this way because it also operates a subsidiary.

JSX itself is a public charter operator and does not operate its aircraft itself. The parent company charters an aircraft from one of its subsidiaries, schedules the flight, and then sells each seat on the aircraft to the general public. Since it is technically a charter flight, passengers can depart from private terminals or fixed-base operators (FBOs), which also require less stringent screening requirements from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

Because JSX is a semi-private air carrier, the company is able to offer its passengers a unique experience overall. For this reason, the company has expanded its operations throughout the United States and into Mexico. Let’s take a closer look at some of the destinations that JSX flies to in North America.

Destinations on the East Coast

Currently, JSX offers nonstop flights to and from a variety of cities. Many of these flights operate year-round, but the company also offers seasonal flights that operate only in the summer, fall, or winter. Some of the year-round flights depart from the East Coast.

Two of these flights depart from Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, New York. This airport is connected to Miami Opa-Locka Executive Airport (OPF), one of its main airports, and West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) in Florida and operates year-round.

JSX also offers winter season flights to Boca Raton Airport (BCT) and Naples Airport (APF) in Florida.

JSX also offers winter flights from another northeastern U.S. destination, Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU) in New Jersey. This airport is connected to West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Naples, all destinations in Florida.

Another location in Florida is used for seasonal flights during the summer. Both Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) and Houston Hobby International Airport (HOU) in Texas are connected to Destin Executive Airport (DSI) in Destin, Florida, for seasonal summer flights.

Destinations on the West Coast

JSX has also spread throughout the United States, especially on the West Coast. One of the most popular destinations is Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) near Los Angeles, California. This airport offers connections to the following destinations:

Other popular destinations on the West Coast include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Orange County (SNA) and Carlsbad (CLD). Additionally, Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) in California is used for two seasonal flights during the summer. These flights go to Burbank and Orange County. About JSX

The company was founded in April 2016 by its current Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alex Wilcox, as JetSuiteX. The company’s goal was to reinvent the way people fly and make it easier for passengers to fly with luxury services. At the time of its founding, Wilcox realized that short-haul flights in the U.S. were becoming increasingly expensive. He attributed the falling demand to the long wait times at airports and promised to simplify the process by operating flights from private terminals and FBOs.

Today, the company has been renamed JSX. Due to the positive passenger experience it has created, the company has slowly expanded throughout the United States. JSX offers seating on its Embraer ERJ aircraft, each of which has thirty seats.

These seats are spaced far apart, allowing for more legroom in each seat. The airline offers full flight attendant service, free Starlink WiFi, and complimentary food and beverages. Passengers can also fly directly from FBOs and private terminals, meaning they can board their plane within 20 minutes of arriving at the airport.
