Three-time MLB All-Star and current Chicago White Sox TV commentator Ozzie Guillén didn’t mince his words when speaking about umpire Hunter Wendelstedt.
Wendelstedt ejected White Sox interim manager Grady Sizemore in the sixth inning of a 9-0 White Sox loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday for discussing balls and strikes, prompting Guillén to fly into a tantrum.
“I wish I had punched him in the face,” Guillén said of Wendelstedt during NBC Sports Chicago’s postgame show.

“He’s the first person to throw me out of a major league game for no reason. His father was a legend. I said, ‘You know what? You’re not a pimple on daddy’s butt.’ That’s what I told him.”
Wendelstedt is the son of Harry Wendelstedt Jr., who refereed for 33 seasons, from 1966 to 1998.
Guillén played in the Major Leagues from 1985 to 2000, with his playing career overlapping with that of the elder Wendelstedt.
Hunter Wendelstedt has been an MLB umpire since 1998, and his managerial duties overlapped with Guillén’s on several occasions during his career from 2004 to 2012.
WHITE SOX LOSE 109TH GAME, DISASTER GAME SIGN UNDERLINES SEASON
Guillén didn’t just wish he had punched Wendelstedt in the face.
“The guy is bad. Look how fat he is. He should be ashamed of wearing that uniform,” Guillén said.
It’s been a rough season for the White Sox. Their loss on Tuesday was their 12th in a row, marking their third losing streak of 12 games or more this season.
They are 31-109 and heading for the worst season in baseball history.

Sizemore has stood at 3.19 inches tall since taking over the job.
The White Sox will look to avoid their 13th consecutive loss when they face the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.
