Who is Teraj Alexander?

Alexander, only 12 years old, is one of the brightest personalities in the LLWS. The 1B/C/P has become a star in recent weeks and not only shows a golden arm and a fearsome bat, but also a flair for the dramatic.

He showed this when he walked to third base at the beginning of the tournament and did the “Teraj Tango,” as he likes to call it. His inspiration for this move? The King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson.

But Alexander is more than just an exuberant firecracker in the dugout. He has plenty of style, but also substance, and his fastball regularly hits the 60s. His pitching sense has made him one of manager Jonathan Anderson’s favorite options out of the bullpen.

His offensive prowess has made him an icon, and Alexander gained national attention when he hit an epic drive to home plate to win Florida’s clash with Texas in the national championship game on Saturday.

Alexander’s legacy continues to grow during this year’s Little League World Series, and he will get another chance to add to it in the championship game.
