Woodstock’s first Truck N’ Food Show takes place August 24th – Shaw Local

The McHenry County Fair may have come to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun at the fairgrounds is over!

The first annual Woodstock Truck N’ Food Show will be held Saturday, August 24, from noon to 10 p.m. at the McHenry County Fairgrounds, 11900 Country Club Road, Woodstock.

This all-day, family-friendly event features live music, food trucks, and semi-trucks, all decked out in lights and elaborate decorations. Proceeds from the event benefit the McHenry County Fair to make restrooms ADA compliant.

Food vendors include Your Sister’s Tomato with wood-fired pizza, El Taco Feliz Mexican food truck, In & Out with hotdogs, chicken, sandwiches and more, Ice Cream Paradise, Los Cuates Mexican with tacos and burritos, La Trinidad with a wide variety of Mexican dishes, Diesels Brew with lattes, mochas and more, Stix & Noodles, Pierogi Rig, San Judas Food Truck with Mexican corn, churros and more, Wisconsin Style BBQ with several varieties of smoked brisket, pulled port and more. Wash down your meals with a beverage from Lemonade & Advocate or Tasty Tumblers and enjoy Johnny Boys mini donuts for dessert! More food vendors are expected to be added.

Music line-up:

DJ Danny Vintage: 12:30 – 14:30

Montana Suede: 3pm-5pm

Marc Esses & Danny Vintage: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Forest fire: 8pm-10pm

There you can vote for your favorite semi-truck. The winners will be announced during the intermission of Wild Fire’s performance. The five categories are Working Class Bobtail, Working Class Combination, Show Truck Bobtail, Show Truck Combination and Antique.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12, seniors over 60, first responders and veterans. Children under 5 are free.
