WWE Raw episode to air in Saudi Arabia this November

For the first time, an episode of WWE Raw will take place in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi government official Turki Alalshikh issued a press release today announcing the events that will take place during the Riyadh Season this fall, including WWE Crown Jewel 2024 and an episode of Raw. The press release states that the shows will take place on consecutive days, meaning Raw will be taped on Sunday, November 3rd and then aired on Monday, November 4th.

The press release states:

The WWE Crown Jewel & Raw show is scheduled to take place over two consecutive days. This event is one of the global events hosted by Riyadh Season this year, continuing the annual tradition of offering a stronger lineup of wrestlers within the most impressive, comprehensive and diverse entertainment season in the world.

WWE’s controversial business partnership with the Saudi government began in 2018 and includes hosting two WWE PLEs per year in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also hosted a SmackDown episode prior to King & Queen of the Ring in May.

The November 4 episode of Raw will begin preparations for Survivor Series, which will take place on Saturday, November 30, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
