(Lawrenceburg, IN) – Get ready to spark your entrepreneurial spirit at the Emerge: Young Innovators Summit! Organized by Genesis: Pathways to Success, this dynamic event is designed to teach high school students critical business skills and knowledge and will take place on October 16, 2024, at Ivy Tech Community College’s Lawrenceburg Riverfront Campus.

The Emerge: Young Innovators Summit provides students with a platform to connect with industry leaders, participate in breakout sessions, and collaborate on business ideas with their peers. The Summit offers interactive sessions on a wide range of important topics including finance, marketing, legal insights, creativity, leadership, and professional communication etiquette. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in discussions with prominent entrepreneurs from different regions and industries and gain insights into their success stories.

To further their professional development, students can get a headshot and learn the value of a LinkedIn account, including how to create and optimize an account for networking and career opportunities. Emerge aims to equip the next generation of business professionals with the tools and resources they need to turn their ideas into action.

The keynote speaker will be Chase Slepak, Chairman and President of Slepak Family Companies. Mr. Slepak oversees a dynamic portfolio that includes real estate, entertainment, and consumer products. He is an active angel investor in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and a respected advisor and coach to many founders. Mr. Slepak will share with attendees his successful entrepreneurial journey, how students can harness their creativity to achieve impactful results, and exemplify how visionary leadership can transform ideas into successful ventures.

In addition to the valuable experience for students, Emerge offers participating educators a $250 stipend, a $500 teaching improvement grant, and Professional Growth Plan points. Along with the students, this summit is a unique opportunity for educators to gain new insights and resources for their classrooms.
