Borba will drive growth and enhance player development for a leading youth baseball organization playing at the highest level
HOUSTON, August 16, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ZT Baseball, a leading youth baseball organization with over 100 teams across the United States, today announced the strategic hiring of Coach Eric Borba as National High School Director. Borba has a successful coaching career in California and will bring his guiding philosophies to ZT Baseball’s exceptional youth.

Borba’s distinguished coaching career includes more than 15 years at Orange Lutheran High School, where he led the varsity baseball team to multiple championships, sent more than 85 players to Division 1 and had 15 players drafted by the MLB, including first-round picks. He has also been active with USA Baseball and held coaching positions at Sonoma State University and various high school positions. He brings strengths in recruiting, athletic department management, tutoring students, scholarship budgeting and more.
